NORMAL - Alleman's Mallory Hillman goes up for a shot in front of St. Thomas More's Lexi Wallen in their Consolation bracket championshiop game on December 29, 2014. Down buy three at the end of the first quarter, STM went on a 37-10 run over the next periods to quietly roll to a 46-29 win at Normal Community High School over the Pioneers. Wallen led all scorers with 20 points with teamate Elizabeth Bristow, who finished with 14 points. Hillman and Kennedy Prince paced Alleman with six points each.

Spartans' Kelsie Rademacher goes up for an easy shot under the basket during the third quarter. She finished the contest with six points. The St. Joseph-Ogden girls team would go on to win their next four games heading into the State Farm Holiday Classic the last week of December. The program finished the 2009-10 season with 18 wins against 10 losses and in second place in the Sangamon Valley Conference final standings.

Memory Monday: Spartans face Central on the road

Fifteen years ago today, the Spartans traveled to Champaign to face the Maroons in a non-conference game on a beautiful spring afternoon. It the PhotoNews' first season covering SJO baseball for the now defunct Ogden Leader. The Leader may be gone, but the PhotoNews is still covering as many games as possible making high-quality photographs and capturing memories of the Spartan baseball program for athletes and fans to enjoy just like this decades later.

While we remember the names and most of the faces, we couldn't find the results or box scores for this game in our files. If you remember the final score let us know via Twitter.
