Last-minute heroics lift Spartans over St. Thomas More

Pence, who drained the game-winning free throw in the last 30 seconds of the game, and teammate Logan Smith finished with 14 points each in the Illini Prairie Conference win. The Spartans improve to 16-4 on the season and 3-1 in conference play. Pence & Co. play on the road Friday at Monticello, who are 4-1 in the IPC.
