On this day in April of 2017, Ryan Thompsen ran with 1,216 endurance runners at the Illinois Marathon. Thompsen, who ran both cross country and track while attending St. Joseph-Ogden High School, ran to a 1st place finish in the Mens 20-24 division, clocking in 2:33:08.
