St. Joseph-Ogden's Jared Altenbaumer wraps up Illinois Valley Central Brynden Coventry ball carrier during first half action at Dick Duval Field on September 15. The Spartans (4-0) rolled past the visiting Grey Ghost in their homecoming game, 56-19. The win continued a two-way tie with Bloomington Central at the Illini Prairie Conference. This Friday, SJO, who lost this weekend to Carterville on the road, will host the 5-0 Saints in a battle of the conference unbeaten. More photos from the IVC game coming soon.
