State Wrestling |Althoff wrestler's back-to-back titles dashed, Jason Dowell drops to consolation bracket

CHAMPAIGN - Althoff Catholic's Jason Dowell wrestles Seneca's Jeremy Gagnon in their Class 1A 285-pound match at the IHSA Individual Wrestling State Finals on Thursday. Dowell, the Class 1A defending state champion, fell in the quarterfinal 10-7 in sudden victory. Dowell is back in action again on Friday with his focus on a third place trophy.
