Spartans head to state! Rosenthal barrels SJO through in big game

St. Joseph-Ogden's Logan Rosenthal squares to bunt during a home game against Gibson City-Melvin-Sibley in April. The senior collected three hits and scored three runs in the Spartans' 9-0 supersectional victory over Williamsville, helping SJO advance to the IHSA Class 2A state semifinals. Parker Fitch earned the shutout win, allowing three hits, while Wil Haley drove in four runs. The Spartans will face the defending state champions Marquette at 7 p.m. Friday at Illinois Field.
