State football |Hill runs over 400 yards, leads to Althoff to state football title

Lena-Winslow's Alec Schlichting tries contain Althoff's Dierre Hill Jr. during their Class 1A championship game. Hill finished, who left the Panthers dazed and dazzled, finished with game with 523 yards on 32 carries and an 80-yard pass play. He scored six TDs rushing and another on the pass play.

State football |Celebrate! Althoff state champs!!!

NORMAL - Althoff's Damondrous Bush celebrates with a fan in the stands as the remaining time ticks off the game clock at Hancock Stadium on the Illinois State University campus on Friday afternoon. The Crusader offense was unstoppable by the Lena-Winslow defense in the 57-14 Class 1A title win for Althoff.
