Softball opening day! SJO and Salt Fork square off


Salt Fork shortstop Alexa Jamison tries to tag out Spartan Addison Frick on steal attempt during St. Joseph-Ogden's first softball game at the newly renovated Randy Wolken Field on Tuesday. SJO took the lead in the bottom of the second inning to win the nonconference battle, 6-3. Frick, a senior, collected one hit, two stolen bases, and an RBI to start her final season of prep softball.
