Coady fell in straight sets, 6-3, 7-6. Later, teaming up with Lillian Hall at #1 doubles, the pair defeated visiting Spartans Lily Rice and MaKennah Hamilton in a scorching three-set match end at 4-6, 6-2, 10-6.
