These days everyone has a camera and this course is designed to help you start taking striking photos in just a few short weeks. Go from taking snapshots and start making memorable photo art.

If you want to learn how take sharp, vibrant photographs like these below, this class is for you. Space is limited so sign up today.

This five-week introductory class will cover the basic information and techniques for 35mm and digital SLR photography. The class, taught via Zoom each week, is available with private one-on-one instruction or in a group session (see dates and times below). Students will learn what settings to use and how they affect an images as well as all about lenses, lighting and exposure, composition, and tricks to make your photos look as good as the pros.

Participants will need a functioning digital camera that has both manual and automatic settings or a single lens reflex film camera to shoot weekly assignments. Basic editing software and access to zoom will be needed.

Group classes, which are limited to 10 students per section, begin Tuesday, January 5. Private classes begin on Tuesday, December 15, and scheduled on a first come, first serve basis.
